The latest rumor for the next Motorola Frontier is a 200-megapixel camera, which would certainly increase the appeal of this device. It will also feature Android 12 Os, 6.67-inch OLED display, and fast 125W charging. However, the price is still unknown. Regardless of the rumored specifications, we can expect a high-end smartphone with a price starting around $500. Then, we can expect some other details to emerge.

Motorola Frontier 22 is rumored to have a 200-megapixel camera

A rumored 200-megapixel camera for the Motorola Frontier 22 has been circulating for months now. The upcoming device from the Lenovo-owned Motorola is currently codenamed Frontier, and a teaser on Weibo has revealed the rumored camera specifications. While the device is not yet known by its official name, Motorola has said it will be out this summer.

Speculations suggest the device will feature a Samsung sensor and will cost between $500 and 600 dollars. It is still unclear exactly what specifications will be included, but the camera is said to be paired with a 50MP ultra-wide camera, 12-megapixel telephoto sensor, and a 60-megapixel selfie camera. Other features include a 144Hz refresh rate and a 4,500mAh battery. The phone is also expected to support 125W wired fast-charging.

It will run on Android 12

According to a recent report, the next Motorola phone will run on Android 12. The 2020 Moto G Pro and the current Moto G Pro will be the first two Moto phones to get the update. It seems that these updates are a sign of what’s to come from Google when it comes to future mobile operating systems. While Motorola is notorious for releasing major updates to its devices later than competitors, its recent release of the Edge 30 Pro and other devices have earned it some exposure.

It will come equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 successor with an Always-On security feature. The device will sport a 6.67-inch P-OLED curved-edge display. The phone may also be available in a dual-SIM version with eight and 256GB of storage. It is also expected to come with both wired and wireless charging. It is also likely to come in different colour variants, including white with a glossy finish.

It will have a 6.67-inch OLED display

It has been rumored that Motorola Frontier will come with a 6.67-inch OLED display. However, it is not clear if this display will be capable of supporting high-refresh rates, like 144Hz. The phone will also be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. It is expected to run on Android 12 out of the box. The phone will come with a 4500 mAh battery, as well as support for 125W fast charging.

As for the camera, the Motorola Frontier will pack a huge rectangular cutout for a triple camera setup. The camera module will be slightly larger in real life, but is said to be 200MP in resolution. The camera is also expected to sport a f/2.2 aperture and OIS. Other specs for the camera include a 6,67-inch P-OLED display and 125W wired and 50W wireless charging.

It will have fast charging 125W

The CEO of Lenovo Group China, Chen Jin, teased that the company is working on a premium flagship smartphone code-named “Frontier,” which will feature high-end specifications, including a 125W fast charger. While Motorola has not officially confirmed the existence of such a feature, a 125W charger would be one of the first features of the device. If the company is indeed developing such a device, it will be released in July.

The 125W charger that is rumored for the Motorola Frontier was first seen in Lenovo’s Weibo account, with the lettering ‘125’ on it. The new device weighs only 130 grams, making it portable and compatible with a variety of mobile devices. Despite being small and lightweight, this charger is still able to support 125W charging. Moreover, it can be easily placed anywhere on the device, allowing it to be positioned anywhere without a problem.

It will have a 5G modem

If the recent rumours are to be believed, the Motorola Frontier will feature a 5G modem and a 144Hz display. The Moto G62 5G, a mid-tier smartphone, will also be available soon. The Moto G62 5G is expected to sport a 125W power output. The Moto Z lineup will come with Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1. It will support both 5G and 4G LTE and have a 3.5mm headphone jack. It will also be powered by a 4,500mAh battery and feature 125W fast wired charging. We’ll know more about the new Moto Z lineup closer to the launch date.

The camera system on the Frontier 22 is also rumored to feature a 200MP sensor. Other rumored features include a 50MP ultra-wide sensor, a 12MP telephoto sensor, and a 60MP front camera. Sources say that the camera setup will feature a Samsung ISOCELL HP1 sensor. A 5G modem is also expected to offer faster internet speeds than 4G.
